RULES FOR VISITORS

Like at other NASCAR events, guests attending the Iowa Corn 350 must follow the rules set by the event organizers. Below is a quick overview of the key guidelines:

What items are not allowed?

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, certain items are not allowed beyond the admission gates at Iowa Speedway. All bags, blankets, and personal belongings are subject to inspection upon entry. Any items deemed prohibited must be returned to your vehicle or discarded – they cannot be left at the gate. Unlawful items will be reported to law enforcement, and prohibited items found inside the venue will be confiscated.

Items not permitted inside the facility include, but are not limited to:

  • Foam or hard-sided coolers of any size
  • Firearms of any kind
  • Knives over 3 inches (when closed) or 6 inches (when open)
  • Multi-tools with blades longer than 3 inches
  • Displays of the Confederate flag
  • Fireworks or explosive material
  • Glass or ceramic containers
  • Dry ice

  • Illegal substances
  • Seat cushions with metal parts

  • Frisbees, beach balls, balloons, or similar items
  • Skateboards, hoverboards, or roller skates
  • Clothing deemed obscene or inappropriate
  • Any item judged by Iowa Speedway management to pose a safety risk or negatively impact the experience of others.

What can you bring?

To ensure a safe and hassle-free experience at the NASCAR event, we suggest packing light and sticking to the essentials. Make sure you have your daily tickets, a valid photo ID (for yourself and any minors), your mobile phone, a payment method (card), and an extra battery if you're planning to use a camera.

To help ensure a smooth entry process, please follow these guidelines for what you can bring into the venue:

  • Each guest may bring up to two bags. Backpacks, diaper bags, fanny packs, and small purses are allowed as long as they do not exceed 18” x 18” x 14” in size.
  • Sealed bottled water is permitted.
  • You may bring one empty soft-sided cooler (max size: 14” x 14” x 14”). Sealed bottled water can be placed inside: Coolers with telescoping handles are allowed if they fit within size limits. Hard plastic liners inside soft-sided coolers do not need to be removed.
  • Insulated drinkware is allowed, up to 64 oz in capacity.
  • Cameras, binoculars, scanners, and headsets are allowed if worn around the neck, on a belt, or packed inside an approved bag.
  • iPads, tablets, and laptops are permitted.
  • Seat cushions are allowed if they don’t have any metal parts.
  • Cigarettes and lighters may be brought in.
  • Service animals are welcome.
  • Nationality flags attached to a thin, pencil-sized wooden stick are allowed. Flags must not block the view of other guests.

Please be prepared for security screening at the entrance. Following these guidelines will help make entry quicker and easier for everyone.
